05 / Artist
Harry Dennis is one of the pioneering voices of Chicago house music.
A regular at The Warehouse in the early 1980s, Harry became one of house music's earliest lyricists, bringing spoken word, poetry and narrative into a culture that was still finding its voice. His work with The It, Jungle Wonz and Fingers Inc. helped shape the sound and spirit of early Chicago house.
Ron Hardy referred to Harry Dennis as the “Gil Scott-Heron of house music.”
More than four decades on, Harry continues to write, record and collaborate, connecting the roots of Chicago house with a new generation of underground artists. His work with JuJu Muzik includes Press Reset, Infinitely and Counting Clouds.

DJ · Producer · Founder of JuJu Muzik
Julian Garnett is a UK DJ, producer and founder of JuJu Muzik. His connection with house music began in the late 1980s through London pirate radio and early club culture, leading to decades of DJing, production and work within the record business.
JuJu Muzik grew from that history — an independent label built around authentic underground house music and connections between generations, scenes and cities.
